Home of the historic mansions of Marliano and Le Sorti

The village of Marliano, known for having hosted the 17th-century painter and writer Lorenzo Lippi several times, was established around the 15th century.

In the same period two important noble mansions were built in this locality:Marliano and Villa le Sorti.

The latter, completed at the end of the 15th-century, simultaneously with the Malmantile walls, later became a convent, and was then converted back into an aristocratic villa.
